Full kids' shoe size table: US 1C to 7Y
Every row below is from Nike's published kids' footwear size chart: US kids' size, EU size, UK size, and foot length in inches as Nike publishes it. The centimetre column is Nike's foot length in inches converted at 2.54 cm per inch and rounded to one decimal, and the last column is the CM/JP size printed on the shoe box — it runs a little larger than the foot length, because it measures the shoe's inside, not the foot. The chart runs in three bands: toddlers (1C to 10C), little kids (10.5C to 3Y), and youth (3.5Y to 7Y). Note that UK sizes restart at 1 after 13.5 — US 1.5Y is UK 1, not UK 14 — and that US 6.5Y and 7Y are both UK 6, so the UK number alone cannot tell those two apart.

How to measure a child's foot
Measure in the afternoon, when feet are at their largest after a day of walking and standing — a morning measurement can come out half a size small by evening. Have your child stand on a sheet of paper in the socks they will wear with the shoes, mark the back of the heel and the tip of the longest toe — for many children that is the second toe, not the big toe — and measure between the marks in centimetres. Do both feet and use the longer one: feet are rarely the same size, and the smaller foot will fit inside the larger foot's shoe. Then find the smallest row in the table whose foot length is at least your measurement, and leave a thumb's width — about 1 cm — in front of the longest toe. A 21.3 cm foot, for example, is longer than the 21.0 cm row for US 2Y, so it rounds up to US 2.5Y at 21.4 cm. Never round down: a shoe that is half a size too small will pinch all day, while half a size too large only needs thicker socks — and growing feet will fill it within months.

| Box CM/JP | Table lookup from US kids' size | US 1Y → 20 cm on the box — the shoe's inside length, not the foot. |
| Size from foot length | Smallest row with foot length ≥ your measurement | 21.3 cm → US 2.5Y (21.4 cm row). |
| US 5C | Table lookup | EU 21, UK 4.5, 12.5 cm foot. |
| US 5Y | Table lookup | EU 37.5, UK 4.5, 23.2 cm foot. |
Who uses this
- The parent ordering online: their child wears US 1Y and learns they need EU 32 before ordering from a European store, so the shoes arrive in the right size the first time.
- The toddler parent: their child wears US 5C and checks it is EU 21, UK 4.5, for a 12.5 cm foot.
- The youth parent: their child wears US 5Y and confirms it is EU 37.5, UK 4.5, for a 23.2 cm foot.
- The between-sizes parent: measures a 21.3 cm foot and learns to round up to US 2.5Y (EU 34, UK 2) instead of squeezing into a 2Y.
Accuracy & limitations
The table follows Nike's published kids' footwear size chart, and the foot-length values are Nike's own heel-to-toe figures in inches, converted to centimetres at 2.54 cm per inch — not the larger CM/JP numbers printed on the box (US 1Y is a 20.2 cm foot, but the box says 20 cm, and US 5Y is a 23.2 cm foot while the box says 23.5 cm). Other brands cut differently: a US 1Y in one brand can fit like a 13C or a 1.5Y in another, and running shoes often run a half size small by design, so always check the brand's own chart for expensive shoes. Width is not covered here — this chart is for standard width, and wide feet often need a half size up even when the length is right. Children's feet also grow fast, roughly a half size every two to four months in the toddler years, so measure again before every new pair rather than trusting last season's size.
